Biography

Bob has over 20 years of experience in commercial lending and banking industry and serves as the Director of Rural Housing Services for Bellwether Enterprise, and a team member of Bellwether Enterprise’s Affordable Housing Group.

Bob has concentrated specifically on Rural Housing Services (RHS) affordable guaranteed loan program, Federal Home Administration (FHA) multifamily and healthcare guaranteed loan programs, and affordable housing since 2004. Since joining Bellwether Enterprise in 2009, Bob has greatly expanded his knowledge and expertise in the Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, Life Company loan products, Bellwether Enterprises proprietary loan products, and all the lending and equity tools that we have to offer.

Recognition

Bob was a key member of Council for Affordable Rural Housing (CARH) subcommittee that spearheaded the effort and success of reactivating the RHS 538 GRRHP loan program with the Federal Government in 2012.


Founding Member, President, and Board Member of the no-profit trade organization of Rural Multifamily Lenders Council (RMLC) established in 2020. A trade association of mortgage bankers and other related types of entities involved in providing financing for the construction, rehabilitation/revitalization, acquisition or refinancing of multifamily housing projects in rural communities of the United States.
