Todd A. Harrop, National Director of Conventional Production, is responsible for overseeing all of the company's nationwide market rate transactions. Prior to Bellwether, Todd was Investment Leader - Real Estate Investments for Nationwide, where he was responsible for managing Commercial Mortgage Loan and Mezzanine/Equity Investments, including Loan Servicing and Real Estate Research.
DJ has 18 years of experience in commercial real estate investments in multiple capacities. Well-versed in all property types, DJ is particularly active in the multifamily and hospitality sectors and is extremely well connected in the capital markets world.
John has been a real estate professional in Chicago for over 40 years with experience in commercial real estate finance, loan origination, asset and portfolio management as well as underwriting and workouts. As National Director of Seniors Housing, he brings extensive experience to managing agency relationships.
Sara has 30 years of commercial loan origination experience, 26 of them in mortgage banking. She has worked on hundreds of transactions, and has successfully arranged financing for more than $2.5 billion in debt.
Victor is responsible for Bellwether Enterprise’s multifamily mortgage loan activities for the eastern U.S. and is based in the Company’s Raleigh office. He originates and underwrites permanent debt financing for multifamily rental property transactions, primarily in the central and southeast regions.
EVP, National Director of Affordable/FHA Production
During his twenty-year career, Phil has implemented new processes and developed crucial relationships with Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, and FHA, originating over $4.0 billion in direct and coordinated productions.
Jim has 17 years of experience in commercial real estate, tenant and landlord representation, underwriting and debt/equity origination. He began his career as an auditor and started in real estate with Colliers B&K in Denver as a real estate leasing and sales broker.
Over his twenty-year career in the real estate industry, Jon has obtained valuable experience in a variety of areas that include project development, loan origination and the overall structuring of complex commercial real estate transactions.
Shippen has over 20 years of experience in the commercial real estate mortgage banking industry. He served as Executive Vice President at Capital Advisors, Inc., before the company combined businesses with Bellwether Enterprise.
EVP, Director of Workforce Housing and Social Impact
Anthony Tarter is an Executive Vice President and Director of Agency Workforce Housing & Social Impact for Bellwether Enterprise. In this role he is responsible for direct loan originations through the company’s various debt and equity programs, including Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, CMBS, and Life Company.
Jim Gillespie is Executive Vice President of Bellwether Enterprise Real Estate Capital, LLC where he focuses on loan origination and management of developer relationships for the firm. Jim has extensive experience in affordable housing and structuring debt and direct equity investments having worked in these areas for over 20 years.
